Welcome to Go Bamboo:

Go Bamboo is a New Zealand based company offering award winning biodegradable, sustainable, everyday products made from bamboo. Go Bamboo gets inspiration for it's products from the plastic debris that washes up on our beaches. All of the products and packaging being developed by Go Bamboo have been designed to be disposed of in and around your own home. They are 100% non toxic and 100% biodegradable.

Our mission is to offer biodegradable, sustainable alternatives to everyday, disposable, plastic items and so limit the amount of plastic ending up in our oceans, on our beaches or in landfill.

Go Bamboo believe bamboo is an effective, affordable alternative to plastic for many disposable and limited life span plastic items, as well as having many environmental benefits.

  • It can sequester CO2 from the atmosphere between 7-30% more effectively than an equivalent area of forest
  • It needs no pesticides, fertiliser and is not routinely irrigated.
  • It is strong biodegradable and beautiful.

We begin our mission by introducing a bamboo toothbrush available in adult and child sizes.

Go Bamboo are advocates for sustainable coastlines, clean oceans and clean beaches. We have pledged to refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle in accordance with the plasticpollutioncoallition.org challenge.

Please spread the word, link this site and join us in pledging to refuse single use plastics, to reduce consumption of plastic, to reuse existing plastic items and to ensure all plastic , at the end of its useful life, is contained in either an appropriate recycling program or as a last resort landfill.
